Im in full work mode right now. Designing/Making my Spring & Summer lines is the best time of the whole year for me. I feel so inspired and ready to make things that I think will be usefuland beautiful in other peoples lives.
I picture how people will wear the clothes and my heart skips a beat when it all comes together.
I have 5 styles of swimsuit this time around and Im thrilled with all of them (Ill have pics up soon!) Also Im finally going to update my website Isha-b.com! A new etsy store is also underway.
Check back in a few weeks to see all these changes......
xoxox,

I just discovered this site LookBook.nu, it's full of awesomeness and wonder.
So basically stylish folks from all around the world post pictures of different looks they like & want others to like.
Sometimes it's actual stylists or designers but other times people posting are random fashonistas.
It's really blows my mind when you can clearly see a zeitgeist amongst everyone. Time really gets away from you while your browsing "looks", I spent 2 hours!
Check This Out!
No more Mayle, very very very sad to say the least.
I understand though.
I remember looking at fashion from a diffrerent perspective; when I was a teenager dreaming of New York and far off places and a made up sophistication. When my aspirations were to wear cool clothes from Mayle and do grown up things and turn 25. I cherished each collection Jane Mayle designed as if I had designed it myself.
At least theres one last collection to scoop up, and there will always be Vintage Mayle on Ebay.
Take a look into a day in the life of a fashion designer............
9:00am- Breakfast
Yes, A cupcake is breakfast!
I could inhale these, its a good thing there is not a Crumbs Bakery in my neck of the woods.

10:00 am- Get to work, well my living room actually.
Now the challenge, turn this pile of printed chiffon into something wearble.

Personally I think this is the best part of the process. Even after 9 years of making stuff I'm still amazed when I finish a project.
1:00 pm- Sweat Shop
One woman sweat shop.
Making progress, a little bit of music, a Sewing Machine named Janome and her friends Serger and Coverstitch. Im glad were all friends........
2:00 pm- Super "Kawaii"
Not bad for half a days work. I love how this one turned out! Can't wait to put it up on my Etsy.

3:00 Time to clean up, and start the next project
Mini Skirts Anyone?
I am in love with Heart Shaped Sunglasses! They come in all colors, big or small, plastic & metal.
Remember the adorable plastic kind you could buy in the grocery store when you were in 5th grade. Well they're back...........
